Dr. Brooke Lee
Doctor of Chiropractic
Brooke Eckhardt Lee, graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 2004, she has been practicing since 2005. Dr. Brooke practiced in Davenport for 10 years and Bettendorf for two years. In January of 2017 she opened Synergy Chiropractic and Holistic Health with Dr.Karin Campion and Debra Bozik, LMT.
She has an Associate of Art degree in Fine Art from Ellsworth Community Collage in Iowa Falls, and a Bachelor of Art degree in Art Education from the University of Northern Iowa Cedar Falls. Dr. Brooke completed a certification in Shiatsu Massage from the Shiatsu Clinic and School in Iowa City, she has been a Licensed a Massage Therapist since 1998 and utilizes soft tissue work in her practice.
Dr. Brooke is a certified acupuncturist and has received her certification from National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, Illinois. She is working towards her Diplomate.
After completing the DC program Dr. Brooke taught in the Medical Assisting Program at Brown Mackie College in Moline, Illinois from 2004-2006. In 2005, she started teaching in the Massage Therapy program at Capri College Davenport, where she currently teaches Anatomy and Physiology, Pathology, Kinesiology, Assessment, Prenatal Massage, Infant Massage and Thai Massage.
In the last few years, Dr. Brooke started teaching Continuing Education seminars for Licensed Massage Therapists, became a certified trainer through NFPT, completed a 200 hour Yoga Alliance certification through One Tree Hot Yoga in Davenport, Iowa. She is certified in Yin Yoga through Evolve to Harmony yoga studio in Omaha, Nebraska; is certified in Bodywork for the Childbearing Years, Kate Jordan Seminars, through Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, Minnesota and working towards her certification in CranioSacral Therapy through the Upledger Institute.
Besides her continued desire to learn and share that desire to learn, in her spare time Dr. Brooke, loves to spend time with her husband Scott and his children, playing with their three dogs, two cats, practicing and teaching yoga and traveling to see family. She loves admiring the flowers Scott plants for her in the yard and on occasion she gets to do some antique rug
hooking at Wheaten Whoolens in Davenport, Iowa.
Dr. Karin Campion
Doctor of Chiropractic
Dr. Karin Campion graduated with a Doctorate of Chiropractic Degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1998. She has been practicing for 19 years in Bettendorf and Davenport. She has owned her own business for several years and in January of 2017 opened Synergy Chiropractic and Holistic Health with Dr. Brooke Lee and Debra Bozik, LMT.
Dr. Karin has an Associate of Science degree in Pre-Chiropractic from Scott Community College, and a Bachelor Degree in Science from Palmer College of Chiropractic.
Dr. Campion, uses several techniques including Thompson Drop-Table, Diversified, Gonstead, Activator and flexion distraction, used to treat cervical and lumbar disc bulges and herniated discs. She also uses ultrasound, Electrical Muscle Stimulation and instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization,which uses stainless steel tools to detect and identify adhesions in the soft tissue. IASTM is a great technique for breaking up scar tissue and reinitializing first stage healing to the body. Scar tissues causes restrictions in Range of Motion and leads to pain and dysfunction. IASTM is also used for sports injuries like sprains and strains, plantar fasciitis, carpal tunnel, rotator cuff injuries, IT band syndrome and more. Dr. Campion also does nutritional counseling and testing via RBTI.
She is a Bettendorf native, a compassionate mother of two wonderful daughters; one of whom has just recently graduated from Bettendorf High School. Her oldest daughter loves cheerleading and is looking into a career in cosmetology. Her other daughter attends Bettendorf Middle School and she loves band and volleyball.
In her spare time Dr. Campion, loves spending time with family and being outdoors. She loves golf, rollerblading, fishing, boating, camping, biking and she loves to watch football.
Debra Bozik LMT
Licensed Massage Therapist
Debra L. Bozik, graduated from Capri College in 2012 with her certificate in Massage Therapy. Prior to massage therapy, she
graduated from Hamilton College in Cedar Falls, in 2002, with an Associates of Applied Science in Paralegal Studies.
In 2016, she received her certification in Prenatal, Labor and Postpartum Massage from Kate Jordan Seminars, as well as,
Gail Tully’s Baby Spinning. In June of 2017, she received a certificate from DONA International for Birth Doula. She is currently working towards certification for being a doula, and is currently taking clients for these services and plans on continuing to further her education in Prenatal, Labor and Postpartum care.
Prior to Synergy Chiropractic & Holistic Health, Debra owned her own business in Davenport, Touch O’ The Irish Massage.
She strongly felt like it was time to merge into a team and felt the time and place were perfect when joining the Synergy Team. She also sat on the Board of Directors and skated for the Quad City Rollers from 2007-2012, helped create and coach the Orphan Brigade (junior coed roller derby kids league) from 2012-2013.
In her spare time, Debra, loves spending time with her husband Chris, and her children Kailee and Padriac and pitbull Hemi.
She passionately cared for her father, Kenneth, a Disabled Vietnam Veteran, until his passing in late 2017. She also enjoys helping with many non-profits who support Veteran’s Issues, the Orphan Brigade, the local anti-dog fighting group AAvenge, and has sponsored the Celtic Highland Games & Festival. She likes working out and yoga (and admits she needs to do it more), hiking, and camping. She admits to being slightly addicted to Ancient Aliens and loves Chicago Blackhawk and Quad City Mallards Hockey.
Elizabet Gant LMT
Licensed Massage Therapist
Elizabeth Gant graduated from Capri College in March 2017 with her certificate in Massage Therapy. Prior to Massage Therapy, she graduated from Bradley University in Peoria in 2013, with a Bachelors of Science in Organizational Communication.
After graduating from Bradley, Elizabeth went on receive a certificate in Nursing Assistant from Blackhawk College in November 2013. For the next 3 years, she worked as a CNA on both a medical and psychiatric unit. During this time, Elizabeth grew even more passionate about mental health and the connection between the mind and body.
Although Elizabeth is new to massage therapy, she is very passionate about holistic healthcare and what she does. She couldn't be more excited to be working at Synergy Chiropractic and Holistic Health with a group of like-minded women.
Elizabeth is a sister and aunt to many, and loves spending as much time with family as possible! She loves spending time with her friends just as much. Some of her hobbies include traveling, music festivals, hiking, camping, taking pictures, reading and yoga!
Megan Lee LMT
Licensed Massage Therapist
Megan Lee, LMT is a graduate of Capri College Davenport’s Massage Therapy program.
She is a Moline native, who graduated from Moline High School in 2016. Megan graduated from Capri College in 2017 and is passionate about helping clients in alleviating pain through massage therapy. Her basic technique is Swedish massage, which is a calming and relaxing massage, the main goal is to stimulate the parasympathetic nervous system which allows the body to self-regulate and restore. Megan is interested in learning more about Aromatherapy and Reiki, which will aid in relaxation massage.
Megan is from a family of four siblings, she loves to ‘razz’ her brother and two sisters. Megan is very creative and has had some published works in the ‘Kaleidoscope’ magazine from Moline High School. In 2016 and 2017 Megan was an intern for the Young Emerging Writers summer internship program through the Midwest Writing Center, she has been published in the ‘Atlas’ each year of her internships. Besides her passion and desire to write, she also loves to draw, read and spend time chatting with friends. Megan also likes to practice a bit of yoga, for mind body connection.
